Note:
–  Because the BARO sensor is integrated in the PCM, replacing the BARO sensor includes replacement of the PCM.
– Because the APP sensor is integrated in the accelerator pedal, replacing the APP sensor includes replacement of the accelerator pedal.

1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
3. Display the PIDs APP1 and APP2.
4. Compare the voltage and opening angle indications for the PIDs APP1 and APP2 with the standard in the table indicated below.

• Clutch stroke sensor, power brake unit vacuum sensor and ion sensor [Skyactiv-G (with cylinder deactivation (e))]
• Engine oil level sensor, exhaust shutter valve position sensor and coolant control valve position sensor [Skyactiv-G (with cylinder deactivation (e))]
