IGNITION SYSTEM [SKYACTIV-G]
Warning:
– Fuel is highly flammable and fuel line spills and leakage from the pressurized fuel system are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injury or death and damage. Fuel can also irritate skin and eyes. To prevent this, always complete the [Fuel Line Safety Procedure], while referring to the [BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION].
– If a spark plug that is not as specified is installed, engine performance will be deteriorated. Install only the specified spark plug when replacing.

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the plug hole plate.
3. Remove the ignition coils/ion sensors.
4. Remove the spark plugs using a plug-wrench.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
