AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID INSPECTION AND REPLACE MAZDA – CX30
INSPECTION:

Caution:
If the ATF level is not within the specification or ATF is not adhering to the dipstick after warming up the engine, do not drive the vehicle. Otherwise, the transaxle could be damaged.
ATF level inspection:
1. Remove the front under cover No.2.
2. remove the front under cover No.1.ATF level inspection:

4. Remove the dipstick securing bolt.
5. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2 and display the PID TFT.
6. Warm up the engine until the ATF temperature is 50 °C {122 °F}.
7. Remove the dipstick and wipe ATF off using a nylon cloth while leaving the engine idling.



REPLACEMENT:

- Disconnect the wiring harness from the front crossmember. (With wiring harness).

2. Remove the dipstick securing bolt.

3. Remove the dipstick.
4. Remove the oil pan cover. (SKYACTIV-X 2.0)

5. Remove the drain plug and washer, and drain the ATF.

6. Install a new washer and drain plug.
7. Add ATF from the dipstick installation hole.

8. Adjust the ATF level.
9. Insert the dipstick and install the securing bolt.

10. Install the oil pan cover. (SKYACTIV-X 2.0)

11. Connect the wiring harness to the front crossmember. (With wiring harness)
