Steps:
1. Disconect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove front under cover No.2.
3. Drain the engine oil.
4. Remove the engine pan.
5. Remove using the procedure shown in the figure.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
7. Add the engine oil to the specified level.
8. Start the engine and verify that there is no oil leakage.
– If there is oil leakage, repair or replace the malfunctioning locaton.
9. Inspect the engine oi amount.
10. Inspect the oil pressure.

1: Oil strainer.
2: Oil Pump driven sprocket.
3: Oil pump.
4: Engine oil solenoid valve.

Oil Pump Removal Note:
1. When repalcing the engine oil pump, remove the engine oil solenoid valve.
