Oil pan gasket Quantity: 1 Location pf use: Oil pan	Silicone sealant Type: TB1217D

Steps:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove front under cover No.2.
3. Drain the engine oil.

6. Remove using the procedure show in the figure.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. Add engine oil to the specified level.
9. Start the engine and confirm that there is no oil leakage.
– If the is oil leakage, repair or replace the applicable part.
10. Inspect the engine oil amount.

1: Emission wiring harness connector.
2: Oil pan, engine oil level sensor, short cord componet

Oil Pan Remove Note:
1. When repalcing the oil pan, remove the short cord.

Oil Pan Installation Note:
1. When the oil pan is replaced, install a new engine oil level sensor and a new short cord.
2. Completely remove any oil, dirt and silicone sealant adhering to the cylinder block and oil pan.
caution:
– Be aware of the following points, otherwise a sealing malfunction may occur due to hardening of the sealant.
Install the oil pan to the cylinder block within 10 min after silicone sealant is applied.
After installing the oil pan, tighten the oil pan bolts immediately.
